I loved this week's session with Philip Grindell on fixated individuals but one point made during the session got me thinking.. Have we been focusing on unlikely threats hyped up by the media instead of the very likely threat of a fixated individual? Notice how I'm not singling out the much over hyped threats because its almost taboo isn't it? We should really get the basics right first... prevent car crashes, prevent embarrassment, prevent attempts by fixated individuals?
