For all you ex servicemen and women who use the train domestically please see below link to apply for the Veterans Railcard. Cost is £30.00 per year or £70.00 for 3 years. If you use the train regularly it is a no brainer with 1/3 off most rail travel. Being a Northerner I use the train an awful lot to get up and down the country and saved the price of the card on 1 trip. You can even add your partner as a companion so they receive the benefits also if travelling with you.
